Residential Life Student Coordinator

About the role

A key administrative partner to the program director — overseeing participant accommodations, logistics, budgeting, and parent communication while serving as a mentor and community builder for students in the dormitory.

Requirements
  • Fluency in Ukrainian
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in student housing management or team coordination
Responsibilities
  • Daily team coordination meetings; operational planning and issue resolution
  • Ensure safe, comfortable dormitory conditions and monitor behavioral guidelines
  • Clear, timely communication with students and families
  • Weekly social-emotional learning sessions for each student group
  • Coordinate housing schedules and duty rosters with the director
  • Plan and assist with events and activities; work evenings and weekends as rostered

Communications & Media Relations Coordinator

About the role

Lead all public communications and storytelling for L&T Kyiv — managing social media, creating photo and video content on-site, and coordinating press outreach to convey the program’s academic and community impact to external audiences.

Role phases
Remote · May 25 – Jul 19 (4–5 hrs/week)
Media channel setup, communications strategy, initiating press contacts and partnerships.
On-site · Jul 23 – Aug 15 (full-time, Kyiv)
Daily social media, photography/videography, media outreach, real-time event coverage.
Remote · Aug 17 – 21 (part-time)
Finalizing content, press follow-up, completing program documentation.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in Ukrainian; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in social media, digital storytelling, journalism, or media production
  • Proven photography and/or videography skills including editing — portfolio required
  • Strong writing skills; media relations experience is an advantage
Responsibilities
  • Daily content across all program channels (photos, videos, Stories, captions)
  • Cover workshops at KSE and student life at the UAL residency
  • Facilitate press contacts, prepare materials, organize interviews
  • Maintain an organized media archive; protect student privacy in all materials
